The Las Vegas Raiders will take on the New York Giants inside MetLife Stadium in Week 9, and here are three keys to victory for the Silver and Black.

The Las Vegas Raiders will kick off the second half of their 2021 season on the road, as they travel east to take on the New York Giants in Week 9. It has been a crazy week for this franchise, who will now have to focus on the task at hand, and that will be not faltering down the stretch like they have the last two seasons.

They start their second half against the Giants, and to win, they will have to accomplish these three things.

Establish the run

Two weeks ago, in the team’s victory against Philadelphia before the bye week, Josh Jacobs was running the ball with authority before leaving due to a chest injury. All signs point to him being able to go this weekend against the Giants and establishing both he, and Kenyan Drake in the run game will be paramount in this one.

Jacobs and Drake are one of the best running back duos in football, and they could have some easy sledding against this Giants defense. Getting these two guys going will help negate a strength of the Giants, which is their secondary because if the Giants have to respect the run, Derek Carr is going to pick them apart on the backend.
