Las Vegas Raiders at New York Giants: 3 keys to victory in 2021 Week 9
Establish the run
Two weeks ago, in the team’s victory against Philadelphia before the bye week, Josh Jacobs was running the ball with authority before leaving due to a chest injury. All signs point to him being able to go this weekend against the Giants and establishing both he, and Kenyan Drake in the run game will be paramount in this one.
Jacobs and Drake are one of the best running back duos in football, and they could have some easy sledding against this Giants defense. Getting these two guys going will help negate a strength of the Giants, which is their secondary because if the Giants have to respect the run, Derek Carr is going to pick them apart on the backend.
