The Las Vegas Raiders travel to the east coast for the first time since Week 2 to take on a tough, but struggling New York Giants team.
This season has been a whirlwind so far for the Las Vegas Raiders. Jon Gruden resigned after emails were revealed that showed him using horrific words regarding several groups, and Rich Bisaccia was made interim coach.
That came on the heels of their second straight loss, one to the rival Los Angeles Chargers, and one to the Chicago Bears, as their record fell to 3-2 after a strong 3-0 start.
The Raiders then went on to win the next two games against the rival Denver Broncos and the Philadelphia Eagles, as they entered their bye week with a 5-2 record and on top of the AFC West. Then the Sunday of the Raiders bye week happens and the good times continued, as the Cincinnati Bengals and Chargers both lost, and the Chiefs looked terrible against the Giants n Monday night.
However, the good times ended horrifically, as 2020 first-round pick Henry Ruggs III was the driver in a car crash that ended the life of 23-year old Tina Tintor. Reports ended up revealing that Ruggs has a BAC of .161 two hours after the crash, as going over 150 miles per hour, and was incoherent and argumentative at the scene.
That led to Ruggs’ release, and as horrible as it sounds, the focus has now turned to the Giants, who have struggled mightily this season, and are very banged-up heading into this game. However, many players will need to step up now that for the Raiders, and we look at three of them here.
