The Las Vegas Raiders are going east to take on the New York Giants out of the bye week, and here are three reasonable expectations in Week 9.

The Las Vegas Raiders have been all over the news for the wrong reasons this week, as former first-round wide receiver Henry Ruggs III was released from the team after his role in a tragic car crash that left 23-year old Tina Tintor dead. As the Raiders try to turn their attention to the football field, they will do so with heavy hearts in a season that has been a real roller coaster for the franchise.

Turning our attention to the action on Sunday, here are some reasonable expectations for the Silver and Black against the New York Giants.

Derek Carr tosses for two-plus touchdowns

Derek Carr has been playing at a high level for most of the season and has navigated the toughest season of his career with the utmost professionalism, and dominance on the field. On Sunday, he will be going up against a New York Giants team that has not won too many games this season, but one that does have a strong secondary.

Still, I believe that Carr is going to have his way with the Giants, dicing up a secondary that played very well against Kansas City and their star quarterback, Patrick Mahomes on Monday night. Playing the Raiders on a short week, and with the Silver and Black coming off a bye, this could be a tough one for the G-Men at home, and Carr should feast.
