With the season halfway over, let’s take a look at five Las Vegas Raiders who have not contributed to the team in the way that we had hoped.

So far, I would say that the Las Vegas Raiders as a whole have not only exceeded expectations, but plenty of players, some unknown before the season, have stepped up big time and contributed more than we could have ever expected to the team. Unfortunately, there have also been players who had big expectations, whether they were an early draft pick or a big free-agent signing, and have contributed close to nothing to the team.

Every offseason, the Raiders revamp the rosters, bringing in a host of draft picks, as well as spending money in free agency. This offseason, the Raiders hit a home run on some of their picks, as well as their free agents, including guys like Denzel Perryman, Nate Hobbs, and others.

However, some players continue to struggle in the Silver and Black, and despite the team’s record, their lack of contributions has hurt Las Vegas. There is a lot of season left, and more opportunities for those players to be a reason why this franchise makes their first playoff appearance since the 2016 season instead of just dead weight on the roster.

Let’s look into the Raiders depth chart and see what players have not been carrying their weight so far this season.
