Tyree Gillespie

Another rookie that had a lot of people talking in the off-season was Tyree Gillespie. So far, Gillespie has pretty much played strictly special teams, playing at around over 50% of the special teams snaps so far this season.

Unfortunately, he has only played seven total defensive snaps while being active for every game this season.

Gillespie has six total tackles on the season, likely all coming on special teams. While it is important to have good special teams players on the roster, that is not what a fourth-round pick at a position of need is supposed to be used for. So far, Gillespie has been an underwhelming player for the Silver and Black.
