2021 Post-Week 9 NFL Power Rankings: Las Vegas Raiders fall from top-10?

The Detroit Lions had their bye week in Week 9, so there was no opportunity for them to lose another game. This has been a terrible season for Dan Campbell and his staff and looking ahead, it looks to be another season finishing in the cellar of a pretty bad NFC North.

The Houston Texans got Tyrod Taylor back under center this weekend, but it did not help, as they continued their losing ways. This time, it was the Miami Dolphins who did them in, as the Fins won their second game of the season, showing just how bad this Texans team is right now.

Staying with the Miami Dolphins, they did get a victory on Sunday and did so with Jacoby Brissett under center, as Tua Tagovailoa was ruled out on Sunday with a broken finger. Tua should be back under center soon, but the Fins will remain in a battle for last place in the AFC East with the New York Jets for the foreseeable future.

The New York Jets played the Indianapolis Colts on Thursday night and looked to be in good shape once again with Mike White under center. Unfortunately, they are nowhere near as good as Indy is right now, and after White was injured, not even 300-plus yards from Josh Johnson could help them avoid loss No. six on the season.
