2021 Post-Week 9 NFL Power Rankings: Las Vegas Raiders fall from top-10?
No. 18 through 15
Staying with this NFC South matchup, the Atlanta Falcons nearly blew another huge lead this past weekend, as the New Orleans Saints battled all the way back from a 24-6 fourth-quarter deficit to take a 25-24 lead with a little over a minute to go. However, Matt Ryan orchestrated a five-play drive to get the Falcons in field goal territory, and YOunghoe Koo played the role of hero.
For a while on Sunday, it looked like the Minnesota Vikings were going to blow out the Baltimore Ravens, that was until Lamar Jackson started to once again do Superman things. Minnesota blew an early 17-3 lead, losing in overtime, despite some late-game heroics from Kirk Cousins and Adam Thielen.
The next time we see the Seattle Seahawks, Russell Wilson will be back under center, and you have to figure he has a run left in him in a tough NFC West. Wilson wins double-digit games yearly, and despite the slow start for Seattle, I would not count them, or Wilson out just yet.
The Buffalo Bills suffered the biggest upset loss of the weekend on Sunday, as they went to Jacksonville and saw the other Josh Allen have a big game. No, not the quarterback, but Jaguars linebacker Josh Allen, who helped the team to a 9-6 victory, by far the biggest headscratcher of the weekend slate.
