2021 Post-Week 9 NFL Power Rankings: Las Vegas Raiders fall from top-10?
No. 9 through 5
Despite being left for dead by most media at the beginning of the season, the Pittsburgh Steelers continue to stack wins, even if they got some help from the referees on Monday night. Najee Harris is an outstanding rookie running back, and as this defense gets better, this is a team that nobody wants to see come playoff time.
The Los Angeles Chargers appear to have gotten out of their rough patch, this after a strong victory over the Philadelphia Eagles in week 9. Justin Herbert had an outstanding game, throwing for over 350 yards, as the Chargers leapfrogged the Raiders into first place in the AFC West.
In one of the more shocking losses of the weekend, the Dallas Cowboys played host to the Denver Broncos, a team that has looked terrible since their 3-0 start. Even with Dak Prescott in the lineup, the Cowboys struggled, and in the end, saw the home crowd leave unhappy after a drubbing at the hands of the Broncos.
The Green Bay Packers did not have star quarterback Aaron Rodgers on Sunday, this after it was announced that not only did he have COVID-19, but that he was also unvaccinated. That led to Jordan Love getting the start, and while the defense did everything they could to beat the Kansas City Chiefs, there was just not enough firepower with Love under center.
Tom Brady and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers had their bye week in Week 9 and will look to get back after it this weekend against the Washington Football Team on the road in Week 10. Tampa Bay did lose their last time out, but they are one of the best teams in the league, and Brady could be landing another MVP honor.
