2021 Post-Week 9 NFL Power Rankings: Las Vegas Raiders fall from top-10?

In another shocker, this weekend, the New York Giants took care of business against the 5-2 Las Vegas Raiders on a short week. Las Vegas was coming off a whirlwind of a week and had to go east, but there is no way that collection of talent should have lost to a banged-up Giants team in Week 9.

The Philadelphia Eagles gave the Los Angeles Chargers all they could handle in Week 9, but in the end, there is just too big a talent gap between the two teams. It came down to a Chargers field goal in the last season, but it was a good effort for Philly, who got strong play from first-round wideout, DeVonta Smith, going for 116 yards and a touchdown.

The Denver Broncos pulled off an incredible upset on the road this past weekend, going into Dallas and beating Dak Prescott and the Cowboys pretty soundly. Prescott and company just could do nothing against this Denver defense, one that looked better than it has in a long time.

The Cincinnati Bengals are falling fast, first being blasted by the Baltimore Ravens, and then being blown out by another AFC North foe, the Cleveland Browns in Week 9. Joe Burrow and company better figure it out quick, because the AFC has a lot of teams clustered atop the playoff race, and the division could suddenly be a longshot.

The New Orleans Saints took on the Atlanta Falcons in an NFC South battle this past weekend, and nearly beat their divisional foe with Trevor Siemian starting in place of the injured Jameis Winston. In the end, despite nearly erasing a 24-6 deficit in the fourth quarter, a Younghoe Koo 29-yard field goal as time expired proved to be their downfall.
