Las Vegas Raiders vs Kansas City Chiefs: 3 things to watch in Week 10

Who steps up on the outside at WR for Las Vegas?

The Las Vegas Raiders lost a big part of their offense this past Tuesday, as they released wide receiver Henry Ruggs III, leaving them with a big hole atop their depth chart. While Ruggs only averaged five targets per game, it was his speed that was a threat, and one that had to be game-planned against weekly.

Against the Giants, the Raiders were missing that element to their offense, and it showed, as Carr could not get anything going downfield. That led to a ton of screen passes, and short throws to Darren Waller and Hunter Renfrow, allowing the Giants to employ a bend-but-don’t-break defense.

This weekend, the Raiders need someone to step up and be that missing deep threat, and that could be newly-acquired DeSean Jackson. This is a guy who is up there in age but can still fly, so adding him to this offense could be just what the Raiders need after the sudden loss of Ruggs last week.
