Las Vegas Raiders vs Kansas City Chiefs: 3 Raiders to watch in Week 10
Josh Jacobs/Kenyan Drake
I’m putting the duo of Josh Jacobs and Kenyan Drake on here because even Josh Jacobs sees them as a 1a/1b type situation instead of a starter and backup relationship. A ton of people questioned the signing of Kenyan Drake in the offseason, especially with Josh Jacobs just coming off two straight 1,000 yard seasons to start his career, but he has been outstanding as of late.
The truth is that Josh Jacobs’s numbers have been declining since his stellar rookie season, and he misses a handful of games a year and limps off the field of play a ton during games. Drake is here to keep him fresh, and both men had strong efforts against the New York Giants this past weekend.
Las Vegas Raiders have a golden opportunity in Week 10 against Kansas City
The Las Vegas Raiders take on the Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday night with a chance to make a real statement in primetime against a division rival.
The Raiders needed to have somebody who could not only compliment Jacobs the way that Drake does but also can take over as the lead back if Jacobs misses time as he did at the beginning of the season. This is a good problem to have, and on Sunday night, both men could be a big problem for this Chiefs defense.
