Las Vegas Raiders vs Kansas City Chiefs: 3 Bold Predictions in Week 10

Bold Prediction #1: DeSean Jackson scores a 50+ yard touchdown

Following the tragic circumstances that led to the release of former Raiders wide receiver Henry Ruggs III, there was an obvious hole at the wide receiver position for Las Vegas to fill. It became even more obvious as the offense clearly missed a deep threat against New York.

In comes 34-year-old DeSean Jackson.

Even at 34, Jackson can still fly. Earlier this season, while with the Rams, Jackson clocked one of the top mile-per-hour speeds in the NFL so far this year.

The Raiders will not waste time deploying him, either. The Chiefs’ defense struggles with allowing big plays, and the Raiders can take advantage of that with Jackson. As far as being acclimated to the offense in a hurry is concerned, being with the Rams before has made it much easier for the veteran wide receiver.

“A lot of the words are similar,” Jackson said of the Rams and Raiders’ offenses. “They’ll be able to have a package for me that I will be able to get in there and play fast.”

Expect Jackson to be able to make an immediate impact on Sunday night and punish the Chiefs’ defense if they attempt to crowd Renfrow or Waller.

A signature long touchdown catch for Jackson could be in the cards for Sunday night.
