Las Vegas Raiders X-Factors against Kansas City in Week 10

Derek Carr

At this point, the offense lives and dies with the performance of Derek Carr. Last week against the Giants, he played arguably his worst game of the season, missing key throws that could have swung the game in Las Vegas’ favor.

Now, as they head into this pivotal division matchup, the Raiders need a huge performance from him. In his career, Carr is only 3-11 against the Chiefs with an average of 239 yards per game, so it’s not always been a favorable matchup. However, the Chiefs are the most confusing team in the league, so if there is any time for Carr and the Raiders to leap them in the division, the time is now.

Carr is still working with limited weapons at the moment, but if he can keep the offense on schedule and continue to perform well on 3rd down, the Chiefs defense has proven they will fold more often than not.
