The Las Vegas Raiders play host to the Kansas City Chiefs in Week 10, and here is our game preview and prediction for the AFC West battle.

The Las Vegas Raiders have a big opportunity ahead of them in Week 10, as they welcome Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs to Allegiant Stadium. The Raiders, coming off a loss to the New York Giants on the road, are 3-1 at home this season, including a huge win against Baltimore in Week 1.

For the Chiefs, they are coming off a victory, but it likely would have been a loss if Aaron Rodgers was able to play for the Green Bay Packers in Week 9. The offense looks sluggish, which has been one of the bigger surprises in football this season, and they go into this game banged up along the offensive line.

Las Vegas needs to take advantage of that in this one, as they have one of the better pass rush duos in the NFL in Yannick Ngakoue and Maxx Crosby. If they can get to Mahomes early, this one could get very interesting, especially with the way Derek Carr has led this offense, outside of last week against the Giants.

Raiders win as the underdog at home in Week 10

Call me crazy, but I actually love this matchup for the Raiders, even more than I liked the matchup last weekend against New York. Carr always struggles when he goes to the Meadowlands, and in front of a rowdy crowd, watching their team play the Chiefs at home for the first time inside Allegiant Stadium, he is going to light up this Kansas City defense.

In the end, the defense is going to do enough to get Mahomes off his mark, and that could lead to multiple turnovers from the former MVP. Carr has been outstanding inside Allegiant this season and should have the magic he needs to win a crucial AFC West battle in front of the home fans on Sunday night.

Prediction: Raiders 27, Chiefs 24
