Las Vegas Raiders: Keys to victory against the Chiefs in Week 10

The Raiders’ defense must continue to be dominant

As of now, the Las Vegas Raiders defense blitzes the least in the NFL in 2021. This is crucial for Sunday night as this now falls hand in hand with the blueprint for beating the Kansas City Chiefs. The Tennessee Titans proved this earlier in 2021 as they only blitzed in their contest against Patrick Mahomes and shut out the once-dynamic Andy Reid offense.

Moreover, the Raiders possess two of the league’s best pass rushers in 2021 in Maxx Crosby and  Yannick Ngakoue, who are amongst the NFL’s leaders in generating pressures and sacks. They must continue their dominant ways on Sunday night, and they should versus a Chiefs offensive front that has seen a significant dropoff in production compared to recent years.

However, the Las Vegas edge rushers can not do it alone, and others must continue to thrive for the Silver and Black. Getting good linebacker play, as well as being able to at least minimize the damage by Tyreek Hill and Travis Kelce will be paramount in this matchup on Sunday night.
