The Las Vegas Raiders may have lost their last two games, but they can jump right back into the playoff picture with a win on Sunday.
This past Sunday night, the Las Vegas Raiders went into their matchup with the Kansas City Chiefs with a chance to move into sole possession of first place in the AFC West. However, they would end up on the wrong side of a 41-14 decision, and many left that game figuring they were done.
It has been three straight seasons where the Raiders have come out of the gate hot, only to falter down the stretch, which appears to be the case after back-to-back losses to the New York Giants and Chiefs. However, they can right the ship in a big way on Sunday, beating an AFC playoff contender inside Allegiant Stadium.
Raiders have dealt with a ton of issues in 2021
It is no big secret that the Raiders have dealt with a ton of issues off the field this season, and on Sunday, it looked like all that spilled onto the field. The Raiders looked lost on both sides of the ball, and you have to wonder if finally, the problems with Jon Gruden, Henry Ruggs III, and Damon Arnette have reached a tipping point with those still playing games.
However, they are still 5-4, very much alive in the AFC West, as well as AFC, and can make a real statement in front of the home fans on Sunday. Las Vegas needs a win badly because if they can beat Joe Burrow and company, they will catapult over them in the AFC playoff race, prepping them for a Thanksgiving Day matchup against Dallas.
Las Vegas Raiders vs Kansas City Chiefs: 3 things we learned in Week 10
The Kansas City Chiefs came into Allegiant Stadium and took control of the AFC West with a 41-14 victory over the Las Vegas Raiders in Allegiant Stadium.
Who knows what team we will get on Sunday, as the Raiders can come out and put up 30 in a blowout win, or give up 30 and lose in a blowout. You have to think they will rally down the stretch, as they try to shed the label of choking another solid start to an NFL season away.
