Las Vegas Raiders: 3 players who should be one-and-done with franchise

Solomon Thomas

A former top pick, Solomon Thomas came to the Raiders after burning out in San Francisco, the franchise that selected him with the No. 3 overall pick in the 2017 NFL Draft. Thomas, an extremely athletic player from his defensive tackle position, got off to a good start in the Silver and Black but has fizzled ever since.

Only 26 years old, there is a chance that the Raiders bright Thomas back next year, but they would have to be able to lock him down at a reasonable price. They currently have Johnathan Hankins entering free agency, and they have to bring him back, while Quinton Jefferson has emerged as a real leader on this defense as well.

For Thomas, he has a half a season left to prove he should be a part of the long-term solution in Las Vegas because he is young enough to be an anchor on this defensive line for years to come. However, they just are not getting the production out of him that they were early on, which could spell trouble for him when the organization starts figuring out the 2022 roster.
