Las Vegas Raiders: 3 players who should be one-and-done with franchise

Nick Martin

When the Raiders brought in Nick Martin, they were bringing in a veteran center that would play backup to a youngster in Andre James, who was taking over for a legend in Rodney Hudson. Early on, many fans were clamoring for the Raiders to turn to Martin, as James struggled in a big way, but he has played outstanding as of late, rendering Martin as just a depth guy.

Moving forward, Martin will likely look to play elsewhere, as he was a starter for the Houston Texans for years, and there is no way he is passing James on the depth chart now. Las Vegas has found their answer at center, and in Martin, he is a good player, who provides good depth, but they can get a cheaper option to do that in 2022.

These three guys were seen as key pieces when they were brought in but based on team needs, and their production, they have to go after this season. Las Vegas is in a part of their season where they are either going to go upward, making the playoffs or collapse again, so we will see if we need to revisit this down the road.
