5 Las Vegas Raiders veterans who should not be back in 2022

Keisean Nixon, Cornerback

Turning back to the defensive side of the ball, the Las Vegas Raiders did a nice job this offseason bringing in Casey Hayward to bolster the cornerback room in free agency. However, there has also been a lot of bad, including the injury to Trayvon Mullen, seen as the future CB1 of this franchise, and the release of 2020 first-round pick Damon Arnette.

Looking forward, this is a position group that must be targeted this offseason, and I believe they should bring back Hayward on a new deal, and if they get Mullen back healthy, they should be solid on the outside. Also, Nate Hobbs was an outstanding Day 3 pick for Mike Mayock and should be the team’s starting slot corner moving forward.

Behind those three guys is a group that should be changed next offseason, and that group includes Keisean Nixon, who has never really reached his potential with the Raiders. This offseason, they should include him in the players they do not bring back, as they have to take a real look at adding depth players who can come in and help this team, not just fill a roster spot.
