The Las Vegas Raiders will battle it out against the Dallas Cowboys on Thanksgiving Day, and here are three things to keep an eye on in the matchup.

The Las Vegas Raiders season has gone off the rails, as they have looked sluggish coming out of the bye week, and have lost three straight games. Now, they have to go to Dallas on a short week to take on a Cowboys team that is also struggling, making what should have been a premier matchup on the Thanksgiving Day slate a battle of teams heading in the wrong direction.

Here, we look at three things to keep an eye on during the matchup.

How the Raiders offense starts

Early on in the game against Cincinnati, the Raiders’ offense looked not only sluggish but uninterested in even putting points on the board. They were able to get the ball deep in Cincinnati territory after a turnover, but only turned it into three points, something that has been a real issue for this team all season long.

They could not convert third downs, stunk in the red zone, and outside of a nice three-play touchdown drive in the second half, they were atrocious. Against this Dallas defense, they need to get the party started early, or else they could be on the wrong side of another blowout.
