5 things Raiders fans should be thankful for in 2021

Waller and Moreau

Things have not gone right for this Raiders offense all season long, as the offensive line has had to be revamped, and the run game has been non-existent. Though he started strong, Derek Carr has struggled mightily since the bye week, laying an egg against New York, Kansas City, and this past weekend, the Cincinnati Bengals.

Although the offense has struggled, two constants have remained all season long, and that has been the play of tight end duo Foster Moreau and Darren Waller. These two guys have been outstanding all season long, and the only real issue is the fact that the Raiders do not play Moreau nearly enough, as they have won every game where he has been featured.

Going forward, the Raiders are set at the tight end position for the foreseeable future, as they are both young players who are still improving. Moreau would likely be a starting tight end on most teams, but behind Waller, he has become an impact player for the Silver and Black when he is on the field.
