The Las Vegas Raiders take on Dallas in Week 12, and if they are to beat the Cowboys, these three players must step up in a big way.

Las Vegas Raiders interim head coach, Rich Bisaccia is very familiar with the Dallas Cowboys, as before his time with the Raiders, he was the Special Teams Coordinator with the Cowboys. As he returns to face a familiar opponent on Thanksgiving, we look at the Las Vegas Raiders, who prepare for their 13th matchup vs. the Dallas Cowboys.

With the series tied 6-6, several questions are surrounding a Raiders team that was once at the top of not only their division but of the league. The Raiders have gone on a three-game losing skid after cementing back-to-back wins following the departure of former head coach Jon Gruden, and the team is desperately looking to bounce back into the win column.

The Raiders must turn to their playmakers to be successful against the Cowboys, here are three players to watch.

Josh Jacobs, RB

While Josh Jacobs has been having a relatively quiet season, as he has dealt with injuries and stalls in the run blocking scheme, the Dallas Cowboys are allowing an average of 139 yards per game on the ground through the last three games. The Cowboys’ inability to control the run could serve to be the perfect opportunity for Jacobs and the Raiders to rebound from the rushing slump that has plagued the team in their 3-game losing streak.

Getting Jacobs involved in the game plan early and often to start the game has historically proven productive for the Raiders especially when Jacobs goes for over 100 yards, the Raiders are 5-2. Establishing the run also opens the offense up for more deep passing plays as the defense is forced to anticipate the run game.
