Las Vegas Raiders: Keys to victory against the Cowboys in Week 12

At all costs, the Raiders must not let the Cowboys’ defensive playmakers take over

In recent years, Dallas’ defense has been lacking superstar-caliber playmakers. Unfortunately, that is not the case in 2021.

Between rookie standout Micah Parsons and second-year cornerback Trevon Diggs, the duo can take over a contest in a nanosecond. To keep this pairing from wreaking havoc, it would behoove the Raiders to establish the rushing attack. Unfortunately, their lack of commitment to running the football has been non-existent from the start in 2021.

As a matter of fact, Las Vegas currently ranks 30th in the NFL for total rushing attempts. While running back Josh Jacobs has been underwhelming, a failure to present a balanced offensive attack invites opposing defenses to hone in on Waller and the weaknesses in the passing protection.

Against the Cowboys, they must solve this issue. Otherwise, it could make a long day for the defense.
