Las Vegas Raiders: Keys to victory against the Cowboys in Week 12

Raiders safety Johnathan Abram must improve in coverage, time now

With the Cowboys being potentially short-handed on the perimeter, they will undoubtedly look to attack the Raiders’ defense differently. One way that the Silver and Black have struggled is via one player.

Las Vegas safety Johnathan Abram has allowed a perfect opposing QB completion rate when he has been targeted in coverage the past two weeks. Abram is lost in terms of pass coverage, whether it’s running backs, tight ends, or wide receivers. On Thursday, his dry spell must end if the Silver and Black’s defense, who has overall been performing well as of late, wants to keep the Dak Prescott-led aerial attack from ultimately going off.

This may be the game where the team utilizes backup safety Roderic Teamer instead after recently returning from injury. Above all, this team will have their work cut out for them this Thursday, but their chance of victory will significantly improve if they follow the above keys.
