Las Vegas Raiders at Dallas Cowboys: 3 things we learned in Week 12
By Brad Weiss
The Las Vegas Raiders went on the road on Thanksgiving Day and got a much-needed win, beating the Dallas Cowboys in an overtime thriller
When it comes to the 2021 NFL season for the Las Vegas Raiders, it can be described as quite the roller coaster. The Raiders have dealt with so many issues on and off the field, and going into their Week 12 matchup against Dallas, they were in must-win mode, after losing three straight games.
Looking to avoid a fourth straight loss, the Raiders finally looked consistent on the offensive side of the ball, scoring 36 points against a Cowboys defense with plenty of playmakers. Micah Parsons made his presence felt in this one, as Carr was constantly pressured in the pocket, but in the end, the Silver and Black were able to get it done.
Now, they have a long wait until their next matchup, when they take on another NFC East foe in the Washington Football Team on the road. The WFT has played better recently winning two straight, but if the Raiders play the way they did on Thursday, they should be able to lock down a second straight win on the road.
