Raiders at Dallas Cowboys: Studs and Duds from 2021 Week 12

Alex Leatherwood and Brandon Parker

Brandon Parker has yet to show he is an everyday player in the NFL, this after being a third-round pick of the team back in 2018. In 2021, Parker has been thrust into the starting lineup with injuries playing a major part, but also a struggling rookie in Alex Leatherwood.

Recently a graphic came out with a list of the most penalized players in the league, and there were two Raiders offensive linemen on the list, with Alex Leatherwood and Brandon Parker both making the list.

Yesterday did not help, as both were called for a multitude of penalties including false starts, holdings, and illegal hands to the face.  These two love to do something to ruin a big play by the offense, and it seemed like every time the Raiders would make a big play, that yellow FLAG symbol would show up on the telecast.

If the Raiders want to be successful going forward into the future, and not only this season, they need to find a replacement for Brandon Parker and hope offensive line coach Tom Cable can help Leatherwood fix his penalty woes.
