Las Vegas Raiders X-Factors against the Washington Football Team in Week 13
DeSean Jackson
The wide receiver finally came alive in Dallas. After an embarrassing one-catch performance against the Kansas City Chiefs which resulted in a lost fumble, and then barely seeing the field against the Cincinnati Bengals in the next game, the recent acquisition was being viewed as a failure.
There was already speculation that Jackson’s best days were behind him, as he is already in his mid-30. However, with limited market availability this late in the season, his signing was a must, as his speed is still rather abundant and replaces that of Henry Ruggs III.
For the Raiders to have a chance in this contest, quarterback Derek Carr has to be able to rely on the deep ball on more than one occasion. This is where Jackson comes in; his 56-yard score is evidence of his deep playability.
He may not be the most talented receiver on this roster, which at this point is between Hunter Renfrow and Darren Waller, but with his deep play ability, Jackson has the chance to change the game with only one reception.
