Las Vegas Raiders vs Washington Football Team: Game preview and prediction

Game Preview

Here, in this contest, are two teams battling towards playoff relevancy. The offensive firepower of the Raiders has been on display for much of the 2021 season, and the Silver and Black boasts one of the top overall offenses in the league, this is if you go by the numbers.

The Raiders are led by quarterback Derek Carr, who has been up and down for better parts of the second half of the season, but after numerous superb displays over the first half of the season, Carr is still leading the league in passing yards. The Washington defense is heavily banged up and will have its hands full trying to stop Carr and a Raiders offense that may be on the cusp of revitalization after an impressive win last week in Dallas.

In terms of injuries, Washington is feeling this the heaviest. They are without both of their starting defensive ends in this matchup, and this will essentially have not only an effect on this game but their season down the line as well.

The Washington Football Team is led by quarterback Taylor Heinicke. The 28-year-old has been a revelation for the team and is slowly becoming a household name as he is leading the team to win after win as the year progresses. He is a hard player to figure out, as he is just as dangerous with his legs as he is with his arm.

For Las Vegas to pull out a victory in this one, they must go to the air, the Washington defense has not been the strongest this season, however, they boast a very strong interior on the defensive line in Daron Payne and Jonathan Allen.
