Las Vegas Raiders vs Washington Football Team: 3 bold predictions in Week 13

Bold Prediction 3: Raiders win big

This is a game that Raiders’ fans know all too well. The perennial let-down game. It seemed to have come against both the Giants and the Bears, but Las Vegas has been able to recover. This week, the Raiders face their final opponent with a losing record.

Other than possibly the Broncos game, there is a very real possibility that this is the last game this season in which the Raiders will be favorites. If they lose this game, there is no coming back.

Fortunately for Raiders’ fans though, there is no need to worry this week. The Raiders will win at home against the Washington Football Team, and they will win big.

The Raiders’ offense is built to cause all sorts of issues for a defense just like Washington. A zone-oriented scheme that gives up a lot of big plays and has shown the tendency to have breakdowns in coverage should be no problem for Derek Carr and Hunter Renfrow to pick apart.

Defensively, Taylor Heinicke should put absolutely no fear into the Raiders’ secondary, and they can stack the box to stop Antonio Gibson. Don’t be surprised if the Las Vegas pass rush causes Heinicke to throw a couple of interceptions.

The Raiders will win by 10+ points on Sunday and keep their postseason hopes very much alive with a 7-5 record.

And, hey, if you don’t believe me. . .

The Coin said so.
