Las Vegas Raiders vs Washington 2021 Week 13: Studs and Duds
Studs – Josh Jacobs
Josh Jacobs is starting to look like himself once again after a slow start to season. After a big game against the Cowboys, Jacobs continued with a solid performance on the ground with 13 carries for 52 yards and a touchdown where he showed off his agility and speed all in one play.
He had a couple big runs in key moments and was a threat through the air as well as he posted 9 catches for 38 yards.
Jacobs has still not had a 100-yard rushing day this season which is absurd considering how talented he is. He has been hampered by injuries and a poor offensive line that has made the Raiders a poor running team in general this season but he will need to get things going if the team is going to stay alive in the playoff race.
On Sunday he was one of the few Raiders players on offense that looked like capable of doing some damage and with Kenyan Drake now out for the season, we should see his already sizable role increasing further.
A 1,000 yard rushing season may be a bridge too far for Jacobs at this point but matching his career average of around 1,300 scrimmage yards is possible with an increase role in the passing game.
