Las Vegas Raiders at Kansas City Chiefs: 3 things to watch in Week 14

3. Home-Field Advantage

There are not too many venues as difficult to pull an away win from as a brutal atmosphere in Arrowhead Stadium. This is evident in the Chiefs’ five wins this season coming from inside the loud stadium. This is more evident than ever when looking at the Raiders horrendous track record at Arrowhead stadium.

The Raiders’ victory over the Chiefs in Arrowhead last season was their first at the stadium since 2012. The same cannot be said for the Raiders at their own stadium, in which they have struggled heavily, despite having fans at their new venue in Las Vegas for the first time ever. The raucous stadium plays a huge role for the Chiefs, and the 12th man will surely be looking to cause issues to Carr as the volume will be deafening as he tries to rally his troops in Kansas City.

Usually, crowds may not play a huge role in a win or loss, but most stadiums do not pack the volume that Arrowhead does, the Raiders must overcome the thunderous and rowdy atmosphere to get their season back on track.
