Las Vegas Raiders vs Washington Football Team: Offensive Grades for Week 13

Running Backs

The running game in this game consisted of mostly Josh Jacobs, some Peyton Barber, and two Derek Carr rushes. Kenyan Drake contributed exactly two touches, one rush, and one catch,h before being bent over backward and ending his season.  Despite having an offensive line that hasn’t been able to run block for most of the year, Jacobs didn’t do that bad.

Jacobs had 13 carries for 52 yards and nine receptions for 38 yards.  Jacobs wasn’t the problem today and apparently, there’s some more deep-rooted frustration coming from Jacobs.  Jacobs went on a diatribe during his press conference after the game, and to be honest, I don’t disagree with what he said.

The young running back came out and basically called the last defense out for not being focused, playing down to their competition, and not bringing the right type of juice to game day.  Jacobs is more of a quiet leader and for him to have to express this sort of frustration is rare for him.
