Las Vegas Raiders vs Washington Football Team: Offensive Grades for Week 13
Wide Receivers
Was there another wide receiver on the field other than Hunter Renfrow? If so, I didn’t see them in much, and neither did Derek Carr. Zay Jones and Bryan Edwards had three catches each for 21 and 30 yards respectively, DeSean Jackson caught his one and only target for 14 yards and Renfrow was once again Carr’s main target finishing the game with nine catches for 102 yards.
After having such success passing to his wide receivers against a Cowboys defense that has been better than the Football Team against the pass, it was weird to see such inactivity from this group especially when there were multiple times where they were running wide open only to be not thrown the ball or to be missed when thrown the ball.
Carr had an off day, and the biggest disappointment was how many times he either did not see or decided not to pass to wide-open wideouts downfield. If the Raiders are going to do anything against a high-powered Chiefs team this weekend, they are going to have to figure out a way to get the ball into Jackson’s and Jones’s hands downfield.
