Las Vegas Raiders vs Washington Football Team: Offensive Grades for Week 13

Offensive Line

What more is there to say about this Raiders offensive line?  I stand by the fact that this season was doomed before it started with former Head Coach Jon Gruden deciding to trade away our good offensive lineman and replace them with a mixture of old and rookie players and it hasn’t worked or has barely been improved all season.

First round pick Alex Leatherwood started at right tackle was moved to right guard for being one of the worst tackles in the league and is still struggling at guard, Brandon Parker a former Raider third round pick might actually be the worst right tackle on any team active or practice squad, John Simpson hasn’t had the best season since having to replace an old and injured Richie Incognto, and new center Andre James struggled mightily during the beginning of the season before finally settling down.

The offensive line can’t run block and can’t pass block and fans are wondering why the offense is struggling so much this year.  Football is a team game one that is successful built from the inside out unfortunately the Raiders just don’t have the talent along the offensive line to compete most games.
