Dabo or Harbaugh? Who is the better fit to be the next Raiders head coach?

Who is the better fit?

The worst part about both of these coaches is that they are both signed on two massive contracts. Dabo signed a 10-year deal worth $93 million only three years ago, and Harbaugh is locked down until 2025. So, if Mark Davis wants to bring them to Vegas, he has to offer a decent contract to make it happen.

Personally, I think it’s more likely that Harbaugh comes to the team than Dabo. After the Gruden situation, I don’t think that Davis will feel comfortable giving Dabo such an expensive, long-term contract. Harbaugh’s contract is only a five-year, $21 million deal.

That’s much easier for Davis to match.

Also, Davis will likely be intrigued by Harbaugh’s NFL experience, especially if he was interested in bringing in Harbaugh back in 2015. Harbaugh may also be the alpha presence to lead and motivate the Las Vegas locker room.

And personally, if Harbaugh lost to Ohio State and missed the playoffs this year, then it would’ve been a done deal that he would be gone. Winning that big game and being ranked number one has bought him some more time. So, he may decide to leave now on a high note rather than getting fired in the next year or so.
