5 2022 free agents the Las Vegas Raiders must go after this offseason
No. 5: De’Vondre Campbell, Linebacker
It is no big secret that the Las Vegas Raiders need help on the defensive side of the ball, as they are an improved unit, but still are lacking enough playmakers to get stops consistently. We have seen the emergence of two rookies on that side of the ball this season in cornerback Nate Hobbs, and safety Trevon Moehrig, and free-agent signings like Yannick Ngakoue and Solomon Thomas have played better than expected.
One trade that has really worked out was the one for Denzel Perryman, who has gone back to being one of the best linebackers in football. He is someone that the team hopefully extends, but outside of Perryman, this is a team lacking both depth, and talent at the linebacker spot, something that needs to change this offseason.
Enter De’Vondre Campbell, who has been quite the find for the Green Bay Packers this season, and someone the Raiders should definitely target in free agency. The NFC’s Defensive Player of the Month in October, Campbell is a guy who flies all over the field, is adept at forcing turnovers, and like Perryman, is a tackling machine.
