5 2022 free agents the Las Vegas Raiders must go after this offseason

No. 1: Davante Adams, Wide Receiver

One name you are going to hear time and time again until he signs with either the Green Bay Packers or a new team, is wide receiver, Davante Adams. A former teammate of quarterback Derek Carr at Fresno State, Adams is an elite player at his position and would be exactly what this offense needs to get to the next level.

We all know the story of this Raiders wide receiver group, one that was supposed to be led by Henry Ruggs III, and one that has been Hunter Renfrow and very little else this season. Sure, the Raiders have the security blanket of having basically an elite receiver in Darren Waller at tight end, but they have to figure out this wide receiver group moving forward.

Adams is the kind of player you can build your passing game around, and having him on the roster would likely lead to more aggressive, and confident play from Carr. The Silver and Black cannot rely on the group they have now outside of Renfrow, so the expectation is that this is a position group that is going to be targeted, and upgraded this offseason whether in free agency, or the NFL Draft.
