Las Vegas Raiders at Kansas City Chiefs: 3 Raiders to watch in Week 14

Josh Jacobs, Running Back

The starting running back will be virtually alone in this contest, as his backup and valuable backfield mate in Kenyan Drake is out for the season after breaking his ankle in last week’s loss against the Washington Football Team. The yards have been hard to come by for Jacobs this season, after a disappointing sophomore season last year, this season is shaping up to be even worse.

The positive is that he has already equaled his receiving numbers from a year prior, however, Jacobs isn’t a wide receiver. Now with the multi-talented Drake out for the season, Jacobs will be counted upon now to not only do better than his 3.8 yards per carry tag, but he must be an even bigger force in the passing game.

Las Vegas will have virtually no chance in this one if the third-year back is held in check against the Chiefs this week, and the offensive line must be at their best to provide some holes for the bruising back. Keep an eye on Jacobs as he leads this now very thin backfield.
