Las Vegas Raiders at Kansas City Chiefs: 3 Raiders to watch in Week 14

Maxx Crosby, Defensive End

The numbers of Maxx Crosby did not jump out this past week against Washington. He was only able to muster a total of three tackles and did not record a sack. Nevertheless, the athletic defensive end was a force in getting in the face of nimble quarterback Taylor Heinicke.

He recorded five pressures on the quarterback and also provided a huge hit which could have been a game-changer on a play that was a bit controversial, as he was called for a roughing the passer penalty. No other player on the Raiders defense recorded more than two pressures on the quarterback, and Crosby was active and involved in nearly every play as his relentless efforts were on full display as the Raider defense showed up on Sunday.

Crosby was one of the best in that contest and will have to be at his best again to take down the dangerous Chiefs offense led by quarterback Pat Mahomes. The star quarterback in Mahomes hasn’t been his best this season, but he definitely was in the last matchup against the Raiders, going off for over 400 yards and five passing touchdowns.

Crosby’s play will be instrumental in either a Raider victory or loss.
