Raiders at Kansas City Chiefs: Game preview and prediction in Week 14

Game Prediction

Josh Jacobs was completely correct when speaking after the game last week, saying that the Raiders play down to their competition, but they usually play up to their competition as well.  The past couple of years the Raiders have beat, or have been competitive with the upper echelon teams they faced, but lose to the teams deemed not as talented, including an almost sweep of Kansas City last season.

With the Raiders coming into this game struggling, isn’t it just such Raiders thing for them to do is shock everybody and play well for at least one more week this season?  I think Carr comes out focused and aggressive, like he did in the Cowboys game, and makes a competitive game out of this from the jump.

Just remember, the Week 10 matchup wasn’t a blowout until the Raiders shot themselves in the foot several times in the second half.

The Raiders defense also has a lot to prove in this game, especially Maxx Crosby, who not only got shut out of getting a sack in their last matchup but hasn’t gotten one since Week 5.  I believe the Las Vegas Raiders go into Kansas City and beat the Chiefs, shocking the NFL landscape, and putting them back in the AFC playoff race.

Final: Las Vegas Raiders 28, Kansas City Chiefs 24
