2022 NFL Draft Class
With so many fans calling for the head of Carr. One place no one should look is the 2022 NFL Draft.
This upcoming class of quarterbacks is the worst in recent memory, and there is no Justin Herbert or Trevor Lawrence in this class, and honestly, there is no player even close to this caliber of talent.
The best of the bunch is quarterback Matt Corral. The Ole Miss product has been described by many as an undersized and “lesser” Baker Mayfield. Not exactly earth-shattering, and definitely not worth taking a flier on.
The quarterback with possibly the highest ceiling in this class is Liberty quarterback Malik Willis. Also undersized and playing at a university that faces a lack of strong competition, the jury is still out on how just how talented the former Auburn transfer even is.
As much as everyone always wants their franchise to take a gamble and find their next Aaron Rodgers or Tom Brady in an NFL Draft — trust me when I say, there isn’t one of those guys available in that draft. There isn’t even a quarterback of say former Kansas City Chiefs draft choice Alex Smith level, just to give this weak class even more context.
Who knows what the franchise will do in the offseason, but be careful what you may wish for in this weak draft class.
