Raiders 7-round 2022 NFL Mock Draft: Raiders regain their speed

153. Boye Mafe – Edge, Minnesota

At this point in the draft, you can risk going after physical traits over on-field production, and Minnesota’s Boye Mafe fits that category.

According to Bruce Feldman’s freak list, Boye has reportedly registered a 40.5 inch vertical, a 10-6 broad jump, and 4.57 in the 40. Those traits should intrigue anyone, especially with a player who weighs 260 lbs.

The Raiders hit big on Maxx Crosby outside of the top 100, so perhaps another swing on an athletic prospect could lead to another hit.

173. Jojo Doman – Linebacker, Nebraska

Another versatile playmaker on defense, JoJo Doman, played as the nickel defender on the Nebraska defense and could be what the Raiders hoped Tanner Muse would be.

He’ll be taken later in the draft, but Doman could prove to be a better player even heading into the draft. If you watch his game against Ohio State, he is all over the field making plays and is familiar with zone drops, making him a good fit for Las Vegas. As a backup hybrid linebacker/safety, Doman is a good fit this late.
