Raiders 7-round 2022 NFL Mock Draft: Raiders regain their speed

217. Nick Ford – Center, Utah

The Raiders need backup help throughout the offensive line, and luckily for them, Utah’s Nick Ford has played every single position along the line. If you watch Utah play, what stands out is the physicality they bring, and Ford is a big part of that.

He is an All-Pac 12 level player, and because the interior offensive line is often not emphasized, he could easily outplay his draft position.

229. Joey Porter Jr. – Cornerback, Penn State

The son of former Pittsburgh Steelers great, Joey Porter Jr has been a starting corner at Penn state for the past two seasons. At 6’2 with incredibly long arms, Porter could be a good fit in a cover three scheme. A physical player with an NFL pedigree, so why not take a chance on someone who is still very raw and has the traits to be a quality NFL player.
