Las Vegas Raiders vs Kansas City 2021 Week 14: Studs and Duds

Studs – Hunter Renfrow

With the absence of Henry Ruggs and the injuries to Darren Waller, Hunter Renfrow has suddenly become the number one target in this Raiders offense. He has been an absolute force to be reckoned with and had another great game with 13 catches for 117 yards and a touchdown.

Many of those stats came in garbage time but to be fair to Renfrow nearly the entire game was garbage time because of how quickly the Chiefs jumped out to a big lead. He had an unfortunate fumble that helped heap more misery on the Raiders but he continued to battle after that play which is more than you can say about the other players on offense.

Renfrow now has 86 catches for 877 yards and could break the 1,000-yard mark this weekend against the Cleveland Browns if the weather is not as bad as the current forecast suggests. Either way, he has already had a career year and could end up with one of the best seasons by a Raiders receiver since Amari Cooper had 1,153 yards in 2016. He should be in for a nice payday when the time comes as he has stepped up big in the absence of other big names on the offense.
