Las Vegas Raiders at Cleveland Browns: 3 Raiders to watch in Week 15

Josh Jacobs

The passing game has been basically figured out since the return from the Week eight bye. This is reflected in the numbers, as quarterback Derek Carr was routinely going over 300 yards passing in the first half of the season, but has only managed one 300 yard passing game since the dreaded return from the bye.

The running game has looked no better and has been actually just as bad if not worse. And now with backup running back and do-it-all factor Kenyan Drake now out for the season with a broken ankle, it seems the Raiders may be doomed unless Josh Jacobs can pick things up.

Last season he dominated the Cleveland Browns, which seems like such a distant memory considering how terrible he has played this season. Whether it is a bad offensive line, or his ability to create space for himself, the play of Jacobs has declined to the point of oblivion.

He is a non-factor in almost every Raider game this season for the most part, and for the Raiders to get back into contention, this narrative must change against Cleveland.

The Raiders will need to get a consistent running game on the ground in Cleveland to pull out a victory here, and now with not much behind him on the depth chart, Jacobs must deliver and replicate his performance from a year ago for a Raider victory.

Keep an eye out on Jacobs in this one as he will be possibly the greatest key between a victory or loss.
