No. 2: Pressure the quarterback

Earlier last week, news came down that Baker Mayfield would be ruled out due to COVID-19, and backup quarterback Case Keenum would step in as the starter. Then, news came down that Keenum had tested positive for the virus as well, leaving Nick Mullen as the starting quarterback going into the matchup on Saturday.

Now that the game is moved to Monday, we could see Mayfield or Keenum back under center, but no matter who it is, the Raiders have to get a pass rush. Currently, Maxx Crosby and Yannick Ngakoue ranked in the top-3 in pressures in the NFL, and if they want to stop this Browns offense, they have to make the quarterback uncomfortable.

Both Mayfield and Keenum have a tendency to throw the ball to the other team, and that will play into the Raiders’ favor on Monday afternoon. Even Malcolm Koonce looks like a legitimate pass rusher in his limited action this season, and with the Browns a bit depleted along the offensive line, it could be open season for the Raiders pass rush.
