Las Vegas Raiders: 4 2023 free agents the team needs to extend this offseason

Foster Moreau

Darren Waller went down with a terrible knee injury during the team’s win against the Dallas Cowboys on Thanksgiving Day and has yet to return to action. He will be out once again in Week 15, as the Raiders travel to Cleveland to take on the Browns, which means Foster Moreau will draw another start.

While Moreau has not had the kind of impact that we expected when he took over as TE1, he is a guy that the Raiders need to make sure they keep around. Having both he and Waller in the fold as the top-two tight ends gives the Raiders a decided advantage at the position, and at 24-years old, he is only going to get better.

Moreau has the talent to be a TE1 for another franchise, and you have to think that if he enters free agency, he is certainly going to get a lot of attention. Las Vegas would be smart to get him under contract on an extension this offseason, as he is just entering his prime, and could be a real threat down the line.
