The Las Vegas Raiders will now take on the Cleveland Browns on Monday afternoon, and here are three bold predictions for the matchup.

For a while, it looked like the Las Vegas Raiders would have some easy sledding against the Cleveland Browns, a team that had been ravaged by COVID-19 protocols. The Raiders have been one of the worst teams in football since their bye week, losing five of six games, and once again playing themselves into do-or-die football for their playoff lives.

For Cleveland, the NFL’s decision to push the game to Monday was a godsend, as they would have played with many of their key players out. Players will still need to test negative to be able to play on Monday, but they are in much better shape than they would have been if the game had taken place on Saturday.

The Browns are coming off a dominant win over division rival Baltimore, and now that they will be closer to full strength, they will go back to being the favorite in this one. Can Derek Carr get it done in the cold weather on Monday, that is yet to be seen, but he did go into Cleveland and pick up a win last season, so who knows at this point.

With that said, let’s take a look at three bold predictions heading into this AFC matchup.
