Las Vegas Raiders at Cleveland Browns: 3 bold predictions in Week 15

2. The Defense will Show Up

The Raiders defense was one of the biggest components in the early season success, continuous pressure and stout coverage were on display as the Raiders defense which has been historically bad for the better part of near-decade was finally looking to garner some change.

Defensive coordinator Gus Bradley looked to be a beacon of change as the Raider defense was something that no one saw coming — and that is an actually good defense.

The second half of this season is showing a different tale here, the defense has been poor and this was clearly on display in last week’s embarrassing 48-9 loss to the Kansas City Chiefs.

The Silver and Black however are facing a way different team this week than the Chiefs, and to be honest, they should have some kind of idea what the Browns are going to try to do. As it stands, both Baker Mayfield and Case Keenum are on the COVID list, so there is a chance the Silver and Black see a third-string quarterback in this one.

The Raider defense should look much better than what they have displayed on what is now a normal and poor routine basis.
